Every Flooring Type
We Install

Hardwood Flooring

Solid and engineered hardwood installation including nail-down, glue-down, and floating methods. We source and install or work with your selected material.

LVP & Luxury Vinyl

Waterproof luxury vinyl plank installation — ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, and basements. Floating and glue-down methods available depending on subfloor conditions.

Ceramic & Porcelain Tile

Floor tile installation in kitchens, bathrooms, mudrooms, and throughout the home — including large-format tile, pattern layouts, and heated floor system integration.

Carpet Installation

Bedroom and living area carpet installation with proper pad selection, power stretching, and seamless transitions to adjacent flooring types.

Hardwood Refinishing

Restore existing hardwood floors to like-new condition — sanding, staining to your preferred color, and finish coating with low-VOC products.

Subfloor Preparation

Every installation starts with a flat, dry, structurally sound subfloor. We level, patch, and repair subfloors before any material goes down — because the subfloor determines the finished result.

Our Flooring Installation
Process

01

Material Selection & Measurement

We measure every room accurately and help you select the right material for your space, lifestyle, and budget — accounting for traffic patterns, moisture exposure, and existing decor.

02

Subfloor Assessment & Prep

We inspect and prepare your subfloor before installation — leveling, patching, and moisture testing as needed. Good subfloor prep is what separates lasting floors from ones that squeak, buckle, or gap.

03

Installation

Material is acclimated to your home's environment, then installed with precision — proper layout, tight seams, clean transitions, and correct expansion gaps throughout.

04

Cleanup & Final Inspection

We clean up completely, install all transition strips and thresholds, and walk through every room with you to confirm the result meets your expectations.

FAQs

Have more questions? We're happy to assess your floors and walk through your options.

Call Us Now
What flooring type is best for Chicago homes? +

LVP (luxury vinyl plank) is ideal for areas with moisture exposure like kitchens and basements. Engineered hardwood is better for main living areas. Solid hardwood works best in bedrooms and areas away from moisture. We help you choose based on your specific rooms and lifestyle.

How long does flooring installation take? +

A single room typically takes 1–2 days. Whole-home flooring replacements take 3–7 days depending on square footage, material type, and subfloor conditions.

Do you move furniture? +

Yes — furniture moving is included in our flooring projects. We move items out of the installation area and return them when the floor is ready.

Can you install over my existing floor? +

Sometimes yes, depending on the existing material and the height implications. We assess your existing floor before making a recommendation — installing over certain materials can void warranties or create transition height problems.

How much does flooring installation cost in Chicago? +
Every flooring project is different. We've completed work across a wide range of budgets — from targeted updates to complete gut rehabs — and we build our estimates around what you actually need, not a one-size-fits-all number. The best way to get an honest figure is a consultation where we walk the space together.
